Rio is one of the most popular spots that Trinity throws parties. The whole club is multilevel with a very large dance floor. Often only the front room and Maroc, the connected sister club that ventures into the outdoors, are open for Trinity parties but it is big enough. Have a night out with your friends and make your own event. The DJs’ playlists are comprised of house music, top 40s or hip-hop tunes with a “state-of the-art ” sound system and lighting to set the mood.

Maroc Bar is Moroccan-themed and is the first venue in San Antonio to have a pool. As stated above, it is Rio’s sister club, although both have unique environments to offer. The pool glows with colored lighting and dancers often entertain the crowd in the water. Lounge areas surround the pool as well, to rest those tired feet.

Cowboys is another popular club among Trinity students. Whether you want to go practice some moves you learned from your country western dance class or you want to listen to some country and socialize, this is a good place to hang out with your friends. Wednesday night is college night. Thursday is ladies night. Every Friday night they feature a live band and live pro bull riding. Enjoy a taste of Texas.

This is another venue for those San Antonio cowboys (and cowgirls) out there. There is no cover for 18+ on Wednesday with a college ID, no cover and karaoke on Thursdays and no cover on Sundays (and FREE dance lessons starting at 8 p.m.). You don’t get deals much better than that. On Friday, if you get there before 9 p.m. there is no cover, as well. After that, if you are under 21, males’ cover is $10 and females’ is $6.

HEAT Nightclub features live performances and is LGBT friendly. They feature a large “danceplex” offering unique themes as well as lounge areas.

This is another popular LGBT-friendly club. Uniquely, it is in a building that is over 100 years old! The venue is large with three dance floors and features a diverse environment. The cover for minors is expensive on Fridays but on Thursdays, cover is free and on Sundays, it’s only $5.
