Everyone always told me that college would be the best four years of my life. In a way, that is true; it has been amazing, and I have grown so much. I have met so many people that have a hand in shaping the person I have become, from these crazy, wonderful people that lived on my hall freshman year, to the amazing friends that I have made, to all my incredible professors.
I’ve been pushed to take advantage of incredible opportunities to travel, to learn and even to face my fears. I might not have had a ton of specific reasons for choosing Trinity when I came here, but now my list is endless.
Someone recently told me that my days at Disney World were about to come to an end, and I should be sad to see them go. It’s true, I am, but I am also ready. Disney World was a great stop but I’m ready for more adventure. Maybe I’ll try Six Flags next.
While I will most certainly be sad (thank goodness for waterproof mascara) to see these days come to an end, I’m so excited for the next best years of my life.
And just because we are leaving this place behind, doesn’t mean we are losing it all. The people that we have grown to love will remain family, the person that we have become will continue to grow and the memories will always be there for us to reflect on some of the best year of our lives. And that is all that really matters.
So while these have been an amazing four years, here’s to hoping the ones to come are even better.
