What was your favorite moment as a Trinity athlete?
My favorite moment as a Trinity athlete was being named the SCAC Player of the Year and winning the SCAC Championship last year. Being able to cut down the net was the most rewarding feeling.
What other organizations were you a part of at Trinity?
I am a member of SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Committee). I was the Trinity University student representative.
Why did you choose to attend Trinity?
I chose to attend Trinity because I was able to receive a great education as well as play basketball. Trinity allowed me to have the best of both worlds.
What was your pregame ritual?
I have a different pregame ritual for each team we play, so it always changes depending on our opponent.
What is your favorite quote?
Advice from the ocean: Be shore of yourself, come out of your shell, take time to coast, avoid pier pressure, sea life’s beauty, don’t get tide down, make waves.
How have the coaches helped you become the athlete you are today?
Coach Cam helped me grow as an athlete over the past two years because of his competitive spirit and encouraging attitude. I have never had a coach believe in me so much and want the best for me as a player and as a person. Also, Coach Bourne allowed me to have fun and improve certain aspects of my game. I am so thankful that I was able to end my basketball career at Trinity with these two coaches.
