Senator Jordan Riley is a representative for the junior class. He became interested in joining the SGA when helping a friend run for office his first year. His goals with the SGA are to speed up the club funding process and to provide more information to students who are looking for internships. His major is political science with a focus in international politics. He explained that his first experience at a senate meeting was welcoming, and he appreciated that everyone has a voice and the opportunity to speak.
Senator Dzung Vu is a representative for the sophomore class. She intended originally to run for the senate in November when the opportunity arose for her to apply early in order to fill the vacancy. She considers her position as a senator as a way of giving back to the university. One of her goals as a Senator is to help encourage school spirit on campus. She is eager to hear from students and invites anyone with suggestions or concerns to contact her personally as their representative.
Senator Dominique Valenzuela is a representative for the sophomore class. She became interested in joining SGA as a senator after talking with her roommate and gaining an interest in serving as a senator herself. Her goals within the senate are to encourage accountability and interaction between senators and those they represent. She would also like to encourage upperclassmen to be more involved with campus life and increase school spirit. She is a psychology and religion double-major. She encourages students to contact her if they have questions or concerns.
