Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Theresa May will be coming to Trinity In March 5 as this year’s Flora Cameron Lecturer. May served as home secretary from 2010 to 2016. She later became prime minister and leader of the conservative party from 2016 until 2019. After Margaret Thatcher, she is Britain’s second woman leader to be appointed. She is currently a member of Parliament for Maidenhead, a position she has held since 1997. The lecture will be held on Tuesday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required to enter the lecture. A government ID must also be show upon arriving. The location of the lecture is still unspecified.
