April 30 | Trinity temporarily goes test-optional: Office of Admissions decides to accommodate cancelled SAT and ACT testing due to the coronavirus pandemic.
April 24 | Admin. amends pass/fail policy for Spring 2020 courses following student feedback: After students vocalize their concerns of academic stress and mental health, some changes were made to the initial pass/fail decision.
April 6 | University postpones graduation ceremony, will still give diplomas in May: The decision to postpone the ceremony was announced over email to undergraduate and graduate students of the Class of 2020.
April 2 | Trinity donates personal protective equipment to local medical center: After realizing there were unused paper coveralls, boot covers and masks in CSI labs, faculty arranged to donate the equipment to the Guadalupe Regional Medical Center through an alumna.
April 2 | Emergency fund created to help alleviate student financial stress: A committee has been meeting on a daily basis to review requests from students.
March 30 | Academic Affairs extends withdrawal deadline, allows switch to pass/fail: Associate vice president for academic affairs Michael Soto announced two changes in course registration: the ability to convert registration to pass/fail grading and a deadline extension for course withdrawals.
March 25 | Univ. asks students to work remotely, says no students allowed on campus: Both on- and off-campus students are now barred from academic buildings and other facilities.
March 23 | Early buzzer sounds as Trinity cancels spring sports: With the concern of the growing coronavirus pandemic in mind, the university canceled the spring season for all sports.
March 19 | “Functioning remotely”: Trinity begins to de-densify campus, asks faculty and staff to work from home if possible: Trinity changes its status from “open” to “functioning remotely.”
March 19 | KRTU adapts to coronavirus closures: Trinity’s nonprofit radio station relieves its 50 volunteer community hosts from on-air programming.

March 16 | University closes gym, athletic facilities for student safety: On March 16, the university restricted access to many parts of the William H. Bell Athletic Center, including the dance studio, the fitness center and multiple courts.
March 11 | Trinity cancels classes, closes residence halls: On March 11, Trinity announced its decision to extend spring break, move to online classes and close residence halls due to concerns of the spread of COVID-19.
March 3 | University announces further precautions against coronavirus outbreak, including quarantine for some intl. travelers: On March 3, Trinity announced new guidance in response to the COVID-19 outbreak and the upcoming spring break, including a mandatory 14-day off-campus quarantine period in certain situations.
February 13 | Coronavrius ends China study abroad trips: In January, Trinity took unenrolled students from their study abroad programs in China and enrolled them in classes at Trinity.
