City of San Antonio (COSA) Charter Election: Propositions A-F
- COSA Proposition A
Amending Article XIII (Ethics Review Board) of the City Charter to include:
– Defining “conflicts of interest.”
– Require enough funding for the board to operate
– Authorize the board to accept or decline complaints that have already been addressed by another entity.
- COSA Proposition B
Amending the City Charter’s language:
– Revise or eliminate parts that have been superseded by state law
– Modernize archaic language
*For example, using gender-neutral pronouns

Amending the City Charter to grant City Council:
– The authority to set the City Manager’s
– Tenure (Term Limits)
– Compensation
*The current cap is 10 times the lowest-paid city employee.

– The ability to participate in legal local political activity, and protect them from political retribution,
– while still prohibiting the City Leadership Team from doing so.
