This week’s astrological events:
April 12: Full moon in Libra. Confidence is king on this day. Find it and use it to make those decisions you have felt uncertain about for much of the year. It will be centered around your heart because a lot of hurt has happened in the past, so this decision will spur change toward healing.
April 16: Mercury moves to Aries. Strongly communicate to your inner voice. It might feel like these are bold and quick decisions. Make sure you protect your peace to prevent the mental burnout already forming thanks to finals approaching.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Relationships are changing and expanding in the crystal ball of an astrology chart I used to help make these horoscopes. Mercury is entering your sign this week; you will reap the most benefits from communication. Be firm in your decision-making.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
This week, a conflict will be paused for external or internal reasons. While taking this week to rest means you won’t face drama, the Mercury shift will stir up the gossip. Enjoy this break with a restful time but don’t shut out the world. You don’t want to miss the gossip!
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
This week’s full moon brings a new and exciting energy to romantic relationships, so go for it. Go on a date. Ask them out or try something new. Coupled with the exciting new confidence in who you are, go be brave. The worst thing that you could hear is “no.” Shake it off and keep trying.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
The full moon day will be a bright day for Cancers, and pride will be the week’s theme. Be proud but check that ego. The mercury shift will also bring a yapping energy, and that’s okay. Yap your heart out. Take advantage of this and try something new and take a step out of your comfort zone.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)
Be spontaneous. The full moon will make you feel a burst of energy to try something new, so take advantage of the energy to get something done. Mercury’s shift might provide a new spark to a hopeless feeling in schoolwork. You desperately need this, so use it. Study but have fun.
Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)
Manifest that money. The full moon will be centered around finances for the Virgos, so if you have been putting off paying bills, do that or other finance-related chores. This is a good day to work on those. In an opposite vibe, the Mercury shift will cause the romantic department to spark up, so have fun with that!
Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)
I might forget Libras, but this week’s pivotal theme is communication. Your loved ones don’t hate you. Talk to them and take a chill pill. Mercury’s shift will only further that mentality and give strength to this endeavor. In short, it’s okay to ask for help and communicate your needs to the people around you.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)
Can you feel the love on a full moon night? The romantic area of relationships is the center of this full moon for Scorpios. The Mercury shift will be another positive moment in the week with goal-driven feelings bubbling to the surface. This week might have positive emotions and events in these two areas of your life.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
Supporting your friends and family as well as yourself is important during this full moon. Thank your friends and find time to appreciate yourself for the hard work you have been doing. Make sure to check on the boundaries and see if they need to be reinforced. The mercury shift will bring the need to change environments. Don’t be rash but explore how that can be done without burnout or too much money spent.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)
The career-focused sign (my sign) has a career-focused full moon. It might be succeeding after a long trek of failures, being recognized for work that you have been doing or getting what you have been working towards. As for the Mercury shift, spend time resting with your friends and close people around you, yap and relax. This can be a hard concept but try it. It will pay off and you won’t burn out.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)
The full moon will illuminate a new direction. It might expand on current goals or create a new goal entirely. The resources you didn’t see might also come to light. It might also cause intense conversations about the changes to come up during the Mercury shift. These are important to have as they will cause a new change in your life.
Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)
Hard work will pay off on the full moon. Take the time to breathe; don’t overwork yourself. The burnout comes in the latter half of the semester. This time also calls for creativity. Take that creativity and apply it to the goals that have reached their completion. Make sure you express your creativity to those around you, for they don’t know what’s going on in your head.
