Mai Vo, Opinion Columnist

I am a native of Hanoi, Vietnam, and spent part of my childhood in Bangladesh and Cambodia. I am a senior majoring in Piano Performance and Communication, minoring in Film Studies. I am an Opinion Writer for the Trinitonian, focusing on issues of the AAPI community, film and music, and food. I am also the Business Manager for Campus Publications, the director of a documentary about Vietnamese youth and recreating history through music, the voice behind San Antonio’s Jazz Calendars, and the executive producer of No Borders 2.0 (KRTU 91.7 FM), a show that highlights indie, jazz, and alternative artists from around the world.
