The End of the Tour (Rated R)

Where: Santikos Bijou Cinema Bistro
When: Showtimes available online
Price: $9.50 per ticket

There are not many places in San Antonio to see smaller art flicks, and consequently I don’t go to as many as I would like. So when “The End of the Tour” came out, I was thrilled to learn that it was playing in town.
Located under a mall, the Santikos Bijou theater is a little hidden, but it’s definitely worth the drive to see Jason Segal and Jesse Eisenberg in this 106 min drama. “The End of the Tour” tells the story of the five-day interview of author David Foster Wallace (Segal) by Rolling Stone reporter David Lipsky (Eisenberg). Although the interview was never published, the film is based on Lipsky’s memoir of the experience, which was published following Wallace’s suicide in 2008.
Adapted for the big screen by Donald Margulies and directed by James Ponsoldt, “The End of the Tour” is rated R for language and some sexual references.

The award winning duo brings its raucous act to San Antonio based 502 Bar this Saturday, doors at 9 p.m.
