    Interesting article. I agree that Trump and Trumpism are here to stay but it is a dying breed. Young diverse voters are increasingly liberal and an increasing majority. The 43% you speak of today will be in the high 30’s in 2024 and will go down from there.

    Democrats need to have an aggressive agenda on health care, climate change, racial equality, policing, ending the filibuster, DC and and PR statehood (assuming they take control of Congress and the presidency). Forget a bipartisan approach – deep divisions make that a non-starter. In 4 years, more voters will thank Democrats for their aggressive policies than will rise against it. The tide has turned.
