Alex Galka, senior biology major
“I don’t know if it’s the prompt you’re looking for, the one where it’s like ‘We shouldn’t date if you don’t, blah, blah, blah.’ Those are usually kind of funny.”
Landry Knight, junior international business and Chinese studies double-major
“I think my favorite prompt overall is the ‘Two truths and one lie,’ because it’s a conversation starter. You can kind of be playful with it. You can do some like, ‘Oh, I want to tell you about, like, where I’m from,’ or anything like that, or like, just random fun facts about me.”
Risa Flores, sophomore human resources management major
“‘I go crazy for women in therapy,’ and ‘I go crazy for free samples at HEB,’ that took me out. I thought that was so funny. And then ‘He’s also looking for a sweet girl that tells him he’s strong.’ I just thought that was so funny.”
Aliya Noe (left), junior computer science major
“I remember my friend, she had said there was this guy — you can listen to voicemails — and he was like ‘I’m a really good singer,’ and then he started singing Jingle Bells. It was really bad, it was like who can mess up Jingle Bells? Really, who messes up Jingle Bells? And he messed it up bad. It was so funny. He has confidence, though.”
Ben Waldner (right), junior physics major
“The prompt where the girl says ‘is a deal breaker,’ or ‘it’s a red flag if.’ You don’t even know me.”
