The Roar Within: Episode 8

Welcome to the final episode of The Roar Within: A Trinitonian Sports Podcast until the 2025-2026 school year! Episode 8 guest stars senior tennis player, Sam Miller. Sam discusses her career in and passion for tennis and sports as a whole, before ending with a fun discussion of tennis rules. As always, the podcast includes a recap of recent Trinity sporting events, but this time it finishes with a preview of all the remaining Tiger events this school year. HELLO!  My name is Scott Lebo (he/him), and I am a sports reporter.  There hasn’t been a day since I started middle school that I haven’t spent at least half an hour talking about sports, so I promise I am knowledgeable on the topic.  I’m a junior from Colorado Springs majoring in political science with an interdisciplinary second major combining the sports management and education minors and finally a minor in history. Outside of the Trinitonian I work in the athletic center coach’s office, conduct color commentary for Tiger Network, and am president of the club soccer team.  A fun fact about me is that I plan to work as a boarding school teacher in the future following in the footsteps of both my parents and my dad’s parents (very original I know).

Hello! My name is Cole Isaacson (he/him), and I am the sports editor for the Trinitonian. I am passionate about sports and enjoy the access we get to Trinity sports at the Trinitonian. I’m a senior from Las Vegas, Nevada majoring in communications with a sports management minor. Outside of the Trinitonian, I work with Trinity’s student-produced news program, Newswave, through Tiger TV, and Trinity’s sports broadcasting network, the Tiger Network, as a play by play announcer. I hope to continue the track of sports broadcasting and do it professionally after I graduate from Trinity.
