“My favorite Halloween candy is Twix.”

“One of them, ‘cause there are three, I plan on being Fluttershy from ‘My Little Pony,’ ‘cause pink hair: I have to take advantage of it. The other ones, I’m gonna be Rowley from ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid,’ when his arm is broken. And we’re going to be from FNAF [‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’]. I’m going to be Chica.”
What is your favorite Halloween movie?
“I recently watched ‘Scream.’ The original one.”
Do you have a favorite Halloween memory?
“Carving pumpkins in general. I try to do it with my friends and suitemates and roommates, but doing it at home with my mom, she would make us go outside and carve pumpkins in our backyard. And even though back then I kind of hated it, I love doing it now, and it’s a tradition I carry on.”

“Nudist on Strike. It’s just a sign that says ‘Nudist on Strike’ like I’m protesting. It’s ironic and funny.”

“I take Halloween as an opportunity to cosplay, so I’m trying to go as this character named Odin from a webtoon comic series called ‘Ava’s Demon.’”

“My favorite Halloween movie would be ‘Beetlejuice.’”

“I have not yet — I need to.”

“Yeah, that’s the thing … I’m superstitious, so no.”
Favorite Halloween hobby/tradition?
“Last Halloween, when I first started trying to do cosplaying for Halloween, and got into sewing and making my own clothes, that’s when I cosplayed as Trevor Belmot from ‘Castlevania,’ and I had a fun time working on that with my Grandma because she’s the one teaching me how to sew.”

What is your Halloween costume this year?
“Well, we are doing a family Halloween costume related to ‘Under the sea.’ Our daughter, Rose, is going as a mermaid, so the rest of the family is going as some sort of sea-creature related thing. I might be a shark, I might be a surfer — we’ll see what happens on the 31st.”
Favorite Halloween hobby/tradition?
“Recently we’ve started doing Halloween on Oakmont and Rosewood, so if people make it over to our house on Rosewood, one of the things we do is we set up a firepit where people can write either their fears or things that are stressing them out, and write them on a slip of paper and cast them into the fire, and that has become one of my favorite Halloween traditions.”
