The Trinity community has spoken, and your choice for best bakery is BIRD Bakery. After visiting myself, it’s clear to see why. Located right on Broadway, it’s less than a ten-minute drive from campus.

BIRD Bakery has a wide array of foods, including breakfast and brunch. From quiches to tuna melts, there’s something for everyone. The store itself is small and charming in its soft blue color palette and wedding-like decorations.

What it’s most known for, however, are the deserts — specifically the cupcakes. They are the first thing you see when you walk in, lined up nicely by the cash register, and there’s a huge variety of flavors to choose from. Red velvet, chocolate peanut butter, salted caramel and fresh coconut are just a few of them, and the options don’t stop there. They’re made from scratch using recipes perfected by Elizabeth Chambers, the bakery’s founder.
