Rosemont is the ideal off-campus housing for seniors. Within walking distance to campus and not as expensive as City Vista, it’s a winning combination. I’m currently living in a three-bedroom apartment in Rosemont with three of my best friends. We’ve loved being able to walk and bike to campus and the Olmos Park H-E-B.
Some of the things to love about Rosemont are the cute swimming pools, the nice office workers and the incredibly attentive maintenance staff. Some things that are irritating: leaf blowers at 8 a.m., strict parking policies and scary, long contracts.
As for the runner-ups, The Beverly and French Place Apartments are great options to live as well. The Beverly has a nice contemporary, modern feel and is close to campus, too, just by the DoSeum. The French Place Apartments are also cute and cozy, but a bit farther from campus. Wherever you end up, you’ll be sure to love off-campus living.
