What did it mean for your child to get into Trinity?
Tom: “We were thrilled for him to be able to get into Trinity. My daughter says it was a stretch university for him…He is special needs. He’s got autism, and so the programs here, the support structure helps him to be successful, and we find that more so than the other campuses he looked at.”
What does Fall Family Weekend mean to you?
Tom: “It’s a chance for us to visit our son and see how he’s doing because it’s [been] multiple months since we’ve dropped him off. We live in Houston. It’s always nice to reconnect with other fellow parents and see new parents and hear about the school.”

Gloria and Greg Jackson
What did it mean for your child to get into Trinity?
Greg: “She was accepted on Taylor Swift’s birthday, which coincides with her birthday, which was an amazing event. And it was very touching to her because it was one of the first five universities she got into, and she applied to something like 12 or 13, so it was pretty awesome. Trinity seems to be a great environment and a wonderful community and you students make it special.”
What does Fall Family Weekend mean to you?
Gloria: “It’s a really nice time to come and see Claudia [my daughter] in her environment. She’s local, so we’ve also gotten a lot of other opportunities to see her. But it’s nice to connect because we’ve noticed [that] it’s around this month, and this week where she’s really gotten into the pace of the university. She’s made a lot of connections. She’s built a relationship with her teachers. And so from the moment that she’s started to this week there’s been a huge growth, so it’s really nice to come and see her in that environment where now she’s thriving so beautifully.”

Geeta Bhat
What did it mean for your child to get into Trinity?
Geeta: “I was very, very excited that he got into Trinity. Very happy that he got a merit scholarship. That was an extra plus that we didn’t even know was coming, because we didn’t apply for any financial aid, so it was like a little nice surprise. It was a hard school to get into. He got into a lot of really fantastic schools, but this is the one that I thought would be the best fit for him. And he is very happy.”
What does Fall Family Weekend mean to you?
Geeta: “A lot actually. We went through a lot to get him ready for college and get him here, and so I have not only myself but I have six other friends that I brought with me this weekend to help celebrate.”
