Nowhere else but Stable Hall, apparently, and you can stomp your way down there this Friday, Nov. 14, for a mashup of genres that no one ever expected. Snag some general admission tickets for the price of a full tank of gas and get ready to sing! Plus, Stable Hall is right in the heart of The Pearl, which is a great place to be at the start of your weekend. Get warmed up with the romance of country blues before hopping right into the hype of EDM and finishing your night by walking a couple of blocks to the Riverwalk for a post-concert snack.

YOU’RE THE BEAUTY TO MY BEAST | THE MAJESTIC | Nov. 19–Nov. 30

It’s a classic Disney story brought right to your backyard. Take a stroll to the Majestic Theatre for a nice night on the town, complete with the flashy, classic lights that you Broadway fanatics know and love. Although this show runs for just over a week, ticket sales are limited, so get them online while you still can. Bring a couple of close friends and dress to the nines for a musical straight out of your childhood, complete with dancing dishes and a romantic repertoire of literature. Don’t forget to brush up on your French while you’re there.

If you’re especially missing home and the warmth of community around you at this time of the semester, Trinity Diversity Connection (TDC) has you covered. Every year, TDC offers a friendsgiving event that’s exclusively for students like you and your closest group of friends. They’ll provide multicultural dishes guaranteed to remind you of home, and the night is complete with activities, giveaways and good vibes that leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Don’t forget to RSVP ahead of time, like all good guests should, so that they know you’re coming. It’s definitely a dinner you don’t want to miss.

Hey! My name is Devon Bellamy (they/them), and I am the Fall pulse editor for the Trinitonian. I am a senior majoring in English with a double minor in math and creative writing. I like to stay busy throughout the semester, so I’m also working as a Phonathon supervisor, one of the creative writing interns and an admissions paid volunteer. This year, I’m very excited to apply for MFA programs around the country, but I think I’m just a little bit more excited to drink a pint of draft Guiness again when I study abroad next semester in Belfast.
