How has your experience in the art market been?
“I really like it. I feel like this year, everyone is very, very creative. My friends and I got matching pinky rings, and it’s really nice to see them. I sold work at the market last year, so to see it from a buyer’s point of view is really nice.”
What do you love most about the art market?
“I think you can really see people’s personality come out through their art. Like these prints are really unique, everything is so organic.”
What is the coolest thing you’ve seen at the art market so far?
“There’s someone doing a photo booth, but she draws it for you. I think that’s a really cool idea.”

Kaylee Marshall, sophomore neuroscience major
How has your experience in the art market been?
“There’s a lot more different crafts and people this year, and it’s very interesting going to each booth and seeing how different each of them are.”
What do you love most about the art market?
“My favorite thing would probably have to be the photo booths. But I also do like the amount of jewelry that we have here. I got the pinky ring as well. I think it’s really diverse.”
What is the coolest thing you’ve seen at the art market so far?
“Those photography pieces with the animals and stuff. Those are really nice.”

How has your experience in the art market been?
“I love seeing all the artists and everything they’re making. If I had more money, I’d buy it all.”
What do you love most about the art market?
“I liked seeing the variety of different things people have to offer and the different amazing things people do. I make art myself, so I enjoyed seeing the ways people are making art that I hadn’t considered and the beautiful stuff they make.”
What is the coolest thing you’ve seen at the art market so far?
“There’s people making art with bones they found. My friend Sophia is doing this really elaborate etching work, and just seeing all of it is amazing.”

“The Art Market is one of, I’ll say on record, my favorite things of every semester. It’s perfect.”
What do you love most about the art market?
“I really love this cloud print. I’m a big cloud enjoyer.”
What is the coolest thing you’ve seen at the art market so far?
“I think getting to see everyone I know separately, all in one place, and getting to see everyone’s creative side. So getting to see a different side of people that I don’t always get to.”

Ava Salas, first-year biochemistry major
How has your experience in the art market been?
“It’s been really good so far. All the vendors are so creative, and I like supporting the small businesses, especially because they’re students, so I really enjoy it. I also spend a lot of money here, so that’s good and bad.”
What do you love most about the art market?
“I just like seeing all the different stuff. There’s pretty similar stuff, like all the paintings and stuff, but they’re still so different depending on the vendors. I like seeing how they differ from each.”
What is the coolest thing you’ve seen at the art market so far?
“I really like the photo booth. She drew the photos, so that was really cool. They’re like little caricatures.”
